The four substitutions are there to resist enzymatic degradation. The sequence is H-Tyr-D-Ala-Asp-Ala-Ile-Phe-Thr-Gln-Ser-Tyr-Arg-Lys-Val-Leu-Ala-Gln-Leu-Ser-Ala-Arg-Lys-Leu-Leu-Gln-Asp-Ile-Leu-Ser-Arg-NH2.
The name is applied to two different molecules. The published human and preclinical record filed under "CJC-1295" was generated with the Drug Affinity Complex conjugate, which carries a different formula, a different molecular weight and a different plasma profile.
