CJC-1295 is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone. The name covers two different molecules, one carrying an albumin-binding complex and one without, and the distinction changes both the chemistry and the half-life. Reading the research starts with telling them apart.
Ipamorelin is a five-residue peptide developed at Novo Nordisk in the 1990s. Its defining property in the literature is selectivity: it releases growth hormone in study models without the cortisol and prolactin changes seen with earlier secretagogues.
